@rocket973 - luckily we do not know about many people and their bad side and 'what they are really like' - hence life is full of surprises.
If I go by my bad experiences and hence following resentments, there wouldn't be many people I would wish to associate with.
We are all faulty, have our problems, we are not always kind, often selfish.
This is not a way to excuse what your, once client, 'Ernie Dingo', did oe did not do - but have you not had many others who behaved similarly and because they weren't famous, you didn't remember?
Human beings, black, white or brindle are faulty - and, yes, it is important to call them out, but it is also important that you can forget and forgive.
I hope people forgive me if I have hurt them, angered them, done them an injustice and I try to do the same - not always easy.
and now:
lets get back to the agenda of making this country great!
It isn't as great as everyone imagines it is, we need to make alliances we are not always comfortable with. We are a small population on a huge continent, we seem to sell out our resources, land even, to foreign interests if the money offered is sufficient - we are not models of propriety, nor nationalism. When it comes to money our standards are easily corrupted.
One can see this on the many messages on here on the share threads.
The 'Welcome to Country' is a tiny sop to a disaffected people - eventually they will be integrated and become invisibly 'white' like so many of their news broadcasters are - we seem to accept the ones who either look 'almost' white - or who make an effort to appear as such. So I can see a lot of integration happening as we speak, but allow them that unique pride in being one of the few remnant populations left, which go back into mankind's very early history - not many of those 'cultures' (however you might think of them) - are actually still around.
Let's celebrate that and not denigrate it/them.
Go well
