Last year the Commonwealth amended its' ALR(NT) however it is still not clear whether those permits are still required or not.


It remains NOT clear whether Commonwealth now requires these corporate Land Trusts to be held accountable to manage and maintain the lands they own.

Is NOT clear whether they be required to issue conventionally valid residential or business leases to all the residents.

Is NOT clear whether they will be be held responsible to maintain all these houses which mostly were funded by the Commonwealth.


The corporate Land Trusts appear to continue to deny families their right to live together, and require permissions to live together, or visit them.

In these communities racial segregation continues.
