There isn't any dispute about how the history of the holocaust is recorded, apart from from a fringe of holocaust deniers that no one takes seriously.
Indigenous people have no recorded history, they were all illiterate. Historical facts were recorded accurately by those at the time who were able to do so. What we have being added now is 'emotional intergenerational trauma' that is at best hearsay.
