I think there is about a decade and a half between
us. I went to a high school in the outer suburbs of
Melbourne. It was mainly working class Aussies
, a few lower middle class and a few migrants.
The migrants were mostly British,
Asian or black kids were a rarity , we did have
one or two Greek or Italian students.

violence and disruption and a very basic
curriculum.
When I say I’m a migrant, I mean I was born
overseas.
The aboriginal problem is a concern but they
say they want to keep their culture and live
5000 miles from nowhere but want what white
man has. It doesn’t work that way . I have
worked with aboriginal people who have
embraced opportunity and moved to the city
and got work.
