therein lies the conflict for many Aboriginal people. how they 'live' their culture is today something of a weekend pastime. that an artefact of modernity.
some want to fully embrace their traditions, some want to learn about their heritage, some want little to do with Aboriginal culture and some want to deny any connection with Aboriginality. of course there are individual differences. the conflict between the necessity to live in the present system and the desire to balance this with traditional values and history.
to each there own tarvie. none are required to live according to our expectations as long as they, and we, abide by laws.
