yes I haven't heard of an aboriginal person being appointed to the HC either. there have been and are Aboriginal Judges, only one ever caused some interesting challenges to the laws as well as the job description.
they might have to settle for the best judge available.
I don't know how it will work. like you only speculating based on previous commissioners.
