That's not really true though is it?
If the referendum was "should we change the constitution to adknowlegde aboriginals were here before europeans"? the answer would be a resounding "yeah sure".
If thats all it is, explain the purpose of a standalone advisory body to give input on anything affecting aboriginal or torres strait islanders? That is very different from "recognition". At present they have the same rights as everyone else, what more recognition is needed?
