An overwhelming majority of Australians would agree with this post, Scott. The difference is an overwhelming majority of Australians seemingly disagree with you that the Voice is the answer. But, probably through hubris or sheer stupidity, the Prime Minister chose to wrap the Voice up with recognition to emotionally blackmail the electorate into a Yes and it seems to have backfired enormously.
I can't recall a more out of touch political move as the Prime Minister's referendum on this. Hopefully the next time somebody tries to get stuff happening in this area it is handled by smarter people.
By the by, you had a crack at someone earlier about typos being Freudian slips of the truth. Isn't it ironic that yours was 'rigging' wrongs. Maybe concentrate less on scoring points and more on the substance beyond typos and other obvious errors?
