It has been backed by leading constitutional lawyers via the government's Constitutional Expert Group, a former High Court Judge Kenneth Hayne, and Two former Chief Justices of the High Court of Australia, Murray Gleeson and Robert French. All of them agree that the wording of the amendment fine and support a Yes vote.
Personally I think it's a pretty modest and overall good change to our constitution to help our fellow Aussies who have been the target of State violence for decades and are amongst our Nation's poorest.
