I'm in the Uk and well aware how Wes destroyed a perfectly good brand in Homebase and subequently wrote off 1.7bn in the process...
Big wallet doesnt determine business model success....it was clear, Wes had no idea about DIY in the uk, and so why should we feel any confidence that they can deliver a complex psuedo chemicals business in the Li space when even Sqm, Livent et al appear to be struggling...
Up the bid to $2.50 and i'll take my swag.....i wouldnt want to hang around for the eventual 1 buck KDR clearance sale under Wes ownership....
