Maintain the Memory of our Meritorious ‘Many’
The Chief of the Defence Force has stated that he will ask the Governor General of Australia to strip the Meritorious Unit Citation awarded to Task Force 66, Special Operations Task Groups who served during the period 30 April 2007 - 31 December 2013. This will impact over 3000 Special Operations personnel including the families of those heroes who have died in combat. Show your support for common sense and help us stop this persecution of ‘the many’ who served with honour.
It is absolutely disgusting that the Chief of the Defence Force wants to strip the Unit Citation award from Task Force 66.
An online petition should be started to strip the Chief of the Defence Force Angus Campbell of all recognition in Australia, he should be sacked and stripped of the medal he got from leading troops in Afghanistan.
11 June 2012 – Distinguished Service Cross (DSC) – "For distinguished command and leadership in action as Commander Joint Task Force 633 on Operation SLIPPER from January 2011 to December 2011.
If this bloke was awarded a medal for distinguished command and leadership in action as a Commander , then why didn't he know of any problems. He should be sacked from the Australian Defence Force.
