re: ann Nexus Energy Limited is pleased to advise that at 12.00 hours (EST) on Wednesday 17th
November 2004 the Longtom -2 well had reached a measured depth of 2312 metres having drilled
an additional 92 metres since yesterday’s report. In this additional section, the well has
encountered similar lithology to that encountered yesterday.
The Joint Venture is currently assessing the significance of the gas shows seen to date before
deepening the well to the planned total depth of approximately 2500m.
