Ians, How many kgs of copper per person will be required in our future world China ,India,Indonesia,Russia?.Wind farms ,solar panels,electric cars,powerstations,modern appliances,electricity supply , comunication, and power generation.I think the supply and demand thing for copper is going to be very one sided. Say an extra one third of the worlds population wanting a modern living standard.
My view is the same for U3o8, im not investing on todays spot prices but on future supply and demand shortfalls.
I have been told that hugh vacant warehouses in china have been stacked to the rafters with copper as an investment for the future by some smart Chinese investors.I wounder buy scrap at todays prices an sell at three or four times the price in the not to distant future,gotta be better than bank intrest.Anyway PMH looks good long term.
