    I am not sure what to make of last nights action. I had a few scenarios in mind and that was definately not one of them.

    If we just consider last nights low, the close and the volume then you can see why some people would think that was the low we saw. But at the end of it all the DOW lost about 450 points in the last half hour into the close. That doesn't seem like a V bottom to me.

    Perhaps while the DOW was low shorters took the opportunity to cover because of what could come out of the weekend meetings....and perhaps when the DOW swung high holders took the opportunity to get out because of what could come out of the weekend meetings. i don't know, and apparently neither does anyone else know where we are....hence the wild volatility.
