Obviously I didn't pick a good time to re-enter UVXY last week, but at the time I was bored and hence, i got impatient. Plus I had been having such a good run with volatility trades via SVXY and UVXY, I simply went for it anyway. More patience required next time from myself. However, good news could be near if you believe the plug for UVXY found here. From this UVXY article I particularly liked the margin debt vs SPX plot shown below. My intention is to average down with UVXY if it drops below 18.
