could that be true? placement shares closing out a short position!
how did the shorters know they would get set in the placement?
if it is true, all holders should be p$ssed. if it is true, it is close to the company. if someone short sells, knowing they can get set in a placement, how is that different to insider trading?
just a thought.
perhaps the insider trading regs need to be reviewed
everyone can take an educated guess at share price falls during periods of inactivity - but not everyone can get set at placement time
