FYI Volt, the Federal Reserve controls the Unitied States through the ability to control the money supply. More money in the system prices inflated stocks go up. Less money prices go down.

System is being re-inflated as we speak but the value of the US dollar is 4c compared to what is was in the early 1900's so you might want to factor that into your charts. If the Fed wants the market to rally you can be sure they can make it rally by pumping more money into your Goldmans and JP Morgans.

Furthermore, MEGA BANK CEO's at banks like Goldmans don't collect massive bonus cheques unless the market is doing well so I'm sure Hank Paulson will be helping out his friends sooner rather than late.
