TLG are not even at commercial scale so the qualification process has already began for some or can still begin because they're still 2-4 years out from production scale. Backing SSB by itself is probably a bad bet. Just like the most things there's like 100s of companies doing the same thing and only 1-5 of these will ever reach mass adoption due to the cost, energy density and cycle life.
The winners at the end of the day will be battery material manufacturers like Talga because no matter what the next big thing is they can always pivot to produce battery materials for the next generation e.g SSB.
