I agree fully with this. Hunt seemed to touch on size of plant at the AGM. I wasn't there. I was still in India but a friend made some notes for me. Very refreshing and that made me tick another box.

In my opinion (grain of salt and all) a large plant initially will be a unnessessary waste. Waste because :
    1. The time it will take to get a large scale plant up and running. In that time others could get to market and as Hunt said - they can't come into the game in 6th place and expect to win. A small plant can go from concept, design, shake down and operational in a much better time frame.
    2. Easier to control debt, gross operating costs or raise funds to a small operation. With the location of the product the mine will be of a relatively simple construction and a controlled initial rollout has benefits of creating a cashflow quickly while minimising financial burden.
    3. Scaleability. Although cost per tonne may be slightly higher initially a smaller percentage of something is better than waiting for a large plant to be contructed and receiving a larger percentage of zero. Grow the infrustructure as it is required.
    4. A fully funded soon to be operational mine goes a long way to an offtake agreement.

An initial plant of 300 - 500ktpa is simply ludicrious.
