Sorry, but why do you continue to post pathetic comments that make you look like a goose? Do you honestly think that VW, the biggest car manufacturer on the planet is only looking towards 2019??? VW has predictions for 2025, 2030 right up to 2040 and beyond! Tony Seba uses "S" curves to predict the future with a high degree of accuracy. Every major business that I know makes predictions about the future in time frames that may be 5, 10 and 20 years!
France, Norway, Holland, England and Germany have made predictions of what the EV sector will be like and they see it as becoming a market where every new vehicle made will be an EV, and ICE vehicles will be non existent! So maybe it may happen in 2031 and not 2030! Or maybe it takes to 2040? But it will happen!

Purified natural flake graphite has a higher crystalline structure and offers better electrical and thermal conductivity than synthetic material. Switching to natural graphite will lower production cost with same or better Li-ion performance. Synthetic graphite for Li-ion sells for around US $10,000 per ton whereas spherical graphite made from natural flake sells for US $7,000 (2015 prices).

Why the hell are there so many companies aiming to mine natural graphite? You've already said that there are too many companies in the mix! They are mining it because natural graphite can be processed cheaper, and is a much better product than synthetic graphite, for making batteries! Der!
