A trade war between the US and China may be calamitous for the share markets worldwide. We already have some nervousness out their between Britain and Russia, but Trump could cause a whole heap of pain the markets. With US interest rates looking like rising, that also puts pressure on the Dow Jones. Remember that the Dow had a 9 year Bull run which has been pretty remarkable!

The ASX usually mirrors the Dow if it falls.

A continued fall in the Dow Jones tonight and into next week would see a whole heap of selling on the ASX and probably would take VRC down lower with it. Profit takers would move in and nervous selling would ensue.

So, I'm watching the Dow closely. None of this affects VRC's mining intentions in the long term, but there may be buying opportunities, or some may take a some profits, if VRC's sp continues to fall?

Let's hope this trade war doesn't eventuate, but there is no telling what Trump will do next!!!!
