I hope that this continues into a new thread as the last one has degenerated into massive pointlessness!

Tesla continues to expand its sales of new cars and its battery storage systems. This is great news for the suppliers of the raw materials for the batteries, including Graphite miners.

Yesterday, the management of the Lake Bonney wind farm in SA, announced that it will be installing a Big Tesla battery system asap. Some other Australian wind farms and solar energy farms are planning to do the same thing!

There is a massive $1 billion solar energy farm planned for Whyalla, a $400 million solar energy farm under construction at Pt Augusta and another 30 wind or solar energy farms planned for SA. A number of those farms will also in install their own Big batteries!

As the production of electric vehicles increases and the sale of Big battery systems and home battery systems ramp up, the demand for Graphite will continue to grow! This is good news for VRC!

But, the big question remains when is the Tanzanian government going to award the mining licences to the companies? Such a long, drawn out process! Hopefully the sooner the better!

Recently reported in mid July:
"The Tanzanian Mining Commission has finalised the standard “Integrity Pledge” and “Local Content” forms for all Mining Companies to complete and which will make up an integral part of all Mining Licence Applications. The forms have now been approved at Ministerial level and forwarded to the Government Gazette. Soon, they will be issued to applicant companies for completion and submission. When returned to the Ministry, the contents thereof will be assessed and either the Mining Licence will be awarded or further engagement will be requested!"
