I didn't want it to generate a stream of replies that had no bearing on trading.

I really appreciate the thumbs up from many, which I thought was a smart way of well wishing but not turning a non relevent trading thread into a "nonsense" thread.

I do think there is a place for slightly off topic but really a philosophical approach to ideas couched in budgie or any other terms.

This is a generalised ideas thread and I didn't get to see all the posts, so can't determine what if anything caused the moderation.

To me it seems arbitrary by someone who doesn't see the big picture, but....

I hope we can continue to post generalised thoughts both philisophical and technical, even when couched in humour or whatever.

To my mind moderation whould be used only when vindictive expression takes over in an extreme way.
