i like the idea of the re classification of capital should the funny munny do well. very sensible.

as an investor, i keep the divis and let the capital roll over +/-

the capital gets re allocated for diversification purposes.

by not touching the capital i can ride through thick and thin.

if the occasion occurs and i get clobbered, such as 9/11 then i reallocate from stocks that have held up well by falling less and reinvest into those that have fallen further. this way i can recoup a few points.

by not being forced to sell i can ride things out.

i never borrow to invest.

i also think this sort of info helps others on this site who are in their early stages of investing or trading.

is it 1974 over again ? i'm fairly confident that's where we're heading. slow kill. only time will tell. judgement, so far, so good. axo 4786 by end june. 10% off high. that will help my confidence.
