Just had a quick look back at the EPG chart and noticed

1. In Dec 05 several days over 10mill vol and in early Jan 06 several more days over 5mill vol predeeded the momentus sp run from 10c to just over 70c by Mar 06.

2. In Jul 06 several days of abt 1mill vol preceeded a sp run from abt 37c to 55c.

3. In late Sep 06 several days of abt 2.5mill vol and in early Oct 06 a single day of just under 5mill vol signalled a solid sp run from 50c to 85c.

4. Just a few days ago there was a volume spike to just under 7mill and then ... Chinese markets and irrational exhuberance intervened ... but you can sense the tension in the last few days of horse trading ... so this time its 66c to ??

My take is that the last 3 vol spikes have increased from abt 1mill to 2.5mill to just under 7mill as the sp increased by 18c and then 35c and currently by ?? respectively. On this basis, a large price spike could be anticipated this time.

I am no chartist ... but I do see a pattern. In reality, how could this be so?

Things have steadily (but slowly) been falling into place ... Folschviller borehole was a beauty ... Lorraine southern extension is a gas lol ... Heritage was the merger we just had to have ... Diebling borehole whilst delayed is another cracker ... and hopefully Lons le Saunier is soon to be confirmed.

The recent strong vol spike followed by exceptionally resiliant trading whilst world markets went into a spin is a strong indicator of imminent sp action imo ... and whatever the news is to be I suspect it will be momentus and company defining ... I will take a stab and suggest an established European gas producer or distributor is in the process of acquiring a substantial shareholding ahead of a farm-in, supply offtake deal or other funding mechanism to help EPG through the upcoming pilot production program and into production rollout ... I say this because it feels like the sp is coiled.

So, any takers on this line ... ?
