The transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient is how people make or lose money in the market. SP stabilisation is hardly conducive for that! Who would ever sell their shares??
Also, how will a few soothing words from a CEO help? Which CEO comes out and says "..it's all arse over tit! Get out while you can!"? They always say what people want to hear. That's probably why they're CEOs in the first place - gift of the ** and all that!
