I don't understand why traders/investors stack the sell side on screen when trying to exit a position.
This would only be useful if your trying to push the price down to accumulate.
If the sellers at .008/.009 want there sell orders filled wouldn't it be better to have your orders off the screen and selling into the buying that would occur at the level you wanted because buyers would be encouraged by the reduced sell orders on screen.
You never see funds / brokers selling bulk shares on screen they always sell into the bid/buy. I guess it's got something to do with speculative nature of the stock and the investors/traders it is more likely to attract.
