Interesting spike in volume for TOT today. 10 times average volume so far (815k today versus 80k average). The large trades (20,000 to 96,000) are also spread across the day. But also systemic 4881 trades. Usually bots vary the amounts somewhat.
Price is also up more than 3%.
Only guesses about this. Might be response to a published recommendation, but trading today doesn't fit the profiles of retailer buyers. Might be an institutional or two buying in for the dividend (including dividend play ETFs). Less likely, a planned takeover. TOT's price is 72% of NTA, which is significant, and that discount is a bit lower than many other REITs.
