CCU is a very tightly held stock - something like 50-60% of the shares on issue are held by the board, and a good proportion of the remainder are held by cornerstone investors who won't sell until well into production (barring any disasters). That leaves the trading volume very thin. If you look on any given day there just aren't many shares on offer, or even being bid for. This means CCU can be subject to big moves on thin volume. This can be exciting when it's moving the right direction but also nervewracking when it goes down.

I'm in from 20 cents (Nov last year) and don't plan on selling for a while yet!
