Why do you think insto's etc. use Algorithmic Trading? Obviously if it were not to their advantage they wouldn't bother running these programmes. Of yesterdays trades, 38% were bots. IMO (and I am not alone) this is done for a reason, either to short, long or cap depending on their current strategy.
