Have just logged in , been at work today, 1st day back since the chrissy break.
what happened today,looks like buyers not picking up the profit taking on the sell side. There will be some who put the shares they picked up in the rights issue and shortfall as instocks pointed out. Maybe they are selling so they are free carried and using the cash to convert the options?
I would have thought some more of the gdaoc options would have come on to the sell side, it looks like there has only been a couple of million oppies added to the sell side.
Quite extraordinary really and really says something about holders of the gdaoc that they want to keep them for the future opportunities. Some people by their nature, can not wait out for news to arrive which is ok but just means they may not be able to be an early holder at low prices a year on when prices are up.
Felix is a classic, it was a minnow like Gondwana is at the moment, trading around the 6c level in 2004 when I was buying it before it had much other than ......they sounded like they were heading in the right direction. They did a 1 for 10 consolidation ( from memory) and after they went ex, they moved progresively from a pre consol' price of about 27c to around $2.60 from memory, and I don't remember them having a bonus etc. the price bobbed around on it's way to $3, to $5, to $7 or so with a high of $8, which was a pre consol' of 80 c. With a price of about $7 at the moment, no one calls them a minnow now.
