Worrying that this narrative is hitting the mainstream. Still
confident that nickel batteries will be part of the energy mix. For the forseeable mid-term future it’s still the best energy density to weight option for large trucks and performance vehicles (over LFP and sodium… but that lead is getting smaller). I know Tesla still plans to ramp up its 4680 nickel chemistry batteries to feed the entire Cybertruck line (250k vehicles a year minimum), probably their semi trucks and probably the performance 3 and Y (and the Van one day).

but this ramp is at least 12 months away which will only start making a dent in world wide nickel demand
