I don't have too much sympathy when there's been more than ample chance to face reality and exit at many points on the way down. Instead, so much wasted energy attempting to pump the unpumpable. A good demonstration of the utter futility of attempting to jawbone against larger (uncontrollable) market forces.
Maxim #1: The market simply doesn't care. It never will. (It sounds callous, but it's a critical law of nature to understand and adapt to in this caper, which we both know all too well.)
