It's a pretty backhanded talking down :)
Do have compassion for the VOR holders though, out on the steps, no infrastructure, no capital and working on a resource in the Tundra like conditions. No comparison to the rich uncle.
You must be close to VOR on your travels? I'm jealous, I have done Tibet but not the steppes.
