Inflation will hit us regardless of the impotent govt we choose. China is in a debt crisis with rising inflation and will have to mitigate that by increasing cost of exports. Unlike the USA we don't have the same luxury of reducing import tarrifs although so far our consumer confidence is holding as the enormous socialist Covid welfare continues to wash through the economy.
