All booked .
Coming to meeting on Wed 26th now.
From my memory of last years agm , the vote for 'performance shares' and other items on the agenda - at the time seemed a bit of a mad scramble to me , the count in the room seemed a bit haphazard .
People with their hands up , hidden behind other people (and surely not counted ) , protestor (anti csg ) holders in the room with hostile questions , tension as things seem to be going overtime , etc.
Perhaps this is because esg management thought they had the numbers anyway , thus leaving the hand count as a formality ?
I remember thinking though , this does seem to leave some room for error.
I imagine this meetings vote will be more carefully managed at the voting stage with so much at stake ... but having had not much experience in these matters , I'm curious about something .
I'm wondering whether there is any extra advantage to , coming along to the meeting even AFTER voting before hand via mail or online .
That is to be reactive to events live as they unfold .
Or save the vote until the meeting ?
Just cant nut out at the moment ...the consequences of the rules of the vote IN PRACTICE on the day if there is a mad scramble again .
I do seem to remember there being some pertinent clauses that might mean those in the room will be counted upon - even after voting ... perhaps if its close .
ps I don't really advocate voting often ;-)
Early is another matter .
