Worst Management :

VRL (extremely poor corporate governance : the Kirbys and G Burke pay themselves big fat salaries which is totally disproportionate to the size of the company, let alone their contribution to adding value to shareholders - which is a big fat negative contribution. They run the company like it's a Kirby private company which suits themselves, without consulting or considering the other shareholders...hello!...you Kirby's only have an economic interest of only 13% in VRL even thought you control it via majority owning of VRC which owns 50.1% of VRL, but none of the VRLPAs. They seem to think they are above the law or at the very least above accepted company practice in Australia when it comes to paying pref divs. All of this is at the expense of minority and Pref shareholders).
