This is for those that hold SYA as direct shares in industry superannuation funds in Australia:
I have just been in contact with my industry super fund, HostPlus to find out if I was able to vote on my SYA shares.
I was told I could not because as trustees, HostPlus is in effect the owner of the shares.
I do have SYA shares outside of HostPlus that I am eligible to vote on but much less.
I am aware that there are other SYA holders that would be in the same position as myself.
