The problem with the PLL deal is the $900 cap. A 20% discount or so to the market price would be more appropriate. Its way too lopsided a deal and a demotivation for a producer. An SYA mistake though in my view.
As for the management of SYA, my guess is its both a capability and strong individuals' self interest issue that tore a huge potential company. If leopards cannot change their spots, then change the animals.
