1) Anyone in favor of a merge with PLL is obviously not cognizant at all of the big mess KP made in Gaston county. It was his for the taking but he managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by acting like royalty when he went there to get the ball rolling. And as I have said many times in the past, I have personally spoke to two selectmen who are dead set on burying PLL in red tape. For anyone who is dumb enough to accuse me of making this up: the phone numbers and emails of the selectmen of Gaston County is a matter of PUBLIC RECORD! Anyone can call them up. Or just watch one of the county hearings with Gaston county, available. on youtube. Just watch and listen to the tone and the body language of the selectmen. Especially the one hearing KP blew off by not showing up in person.
2) In the eventuality that we merge, KP will want to make Sayona subservient to his American operations (e.g, to save the hydroxide refinery pipe dream), and he is stupid enough to try.
The problem with that is: we were gifted NAL and Moblan with the implicit understanding that any vertical integration would stay in Quebec. KP is too dumb to be aware of that, and James Brown is ignorant as well.
Of course, BL isn’t there to remind anyone of that, so the Canadian and Quebec government will cease being cooperative and supportive of us if we merge with PLL. Can’t think of a faster way to lose government funding or support than to renege on our promise of vertical integration in Canada. We’ve already reneged on Amos.
3) I have no idea why anyone would ever think it a good idea to merge with a company that actively undercuts you, lies about the nature of their relationship with you, and consistently fails to mention you, but instead postures as the “leading producer of spodumene in North America.”I mean, seriously, take a look at this very misleading chart, below, that flat out denies the carbonate plant coming online in 2026 and nullifying the OTA that PLL has with Sayona whereby all available spod must go towards the production of carbonate.
I have no idea why on earth anyone thinks it's a good idea to merge with a corporation that is actively sabotaging you?
