You have no idea what you're talking about.

Sayona wasn't the only suitor for NAL, far from it. And Sayona, in combination with an American based company, in PLL was far from the favorite as well. Sayona had to sweeten its bid and jump farther and further than the other bidders. They had to offer what the others wouldn't, a commitment to stay in Quebec.

Moblan is 40% owned by the Quebec government. They just don't get in bed with anyone and they don't sell to the highest bidder. SOQUEM isn't dumb, they knew exactly what Moblan was and how huge it was. They wanted to be careful who to give it to.

And yes the OTA will effectively cease because we will go back to producing sc6 and not 5.4 and we certainly cannot do that at 220kpta. And we will not exceed what the carbonate plant can take in, in order to reduce wear and tear on equipment.

Also, your idea that we should meekly approach PLL and offer another 25% is completely ludicrous. If our fat cream puff of a CEO had any balls, he would have already been in court and had the JV nullified. We have more than enough to get out of the JV. If only we had someone like Ken Brinsden.... oh well, one can always dream, right?

But keep on speaking like the true PLL holder that you are.
