Thats what AGM's are for, in many cases despite the chest beating many don't or can't turn up , if they do ask very few questions and those who do give us their interpretation of what was said.
Some questions simply can't be answered for reasons of confidentiality and any merger talks would be one of them.
Another question could be is what dispute provisions are in place to resolve JV issues, SYA are not only the biggest partner but are also the operato so are not totally powerless.
