Resolution 1 lost on a show of hands.

But Resolution 2 is noted in the announcement as having been passed on a show of hands despite the proxies running 5 to 1 against the resolutions.

Results of Proxies:
For: 2 million
Against: 10.8 million

s251AA of the Corporations Act requires that the proxies be disclosed if it is passed on a show of hands, but it looks as though there is no requirement to actually take them into account unless someone at the meeting asks for a poll.

I could be wrong, but that is my reading of it.

Hopefully the board will do the honorable and step down though. After all they are all honorable gentlemen aren't they?
