How you can conclude that we the investors can "buy the land at rock bottom prices" is away with the pixies stuff.

We might own the trees but in a lot of cases they are on land we don't own and where we have not paid the rent. Possession is not nine tenths of the law and if the rent hasn't been paid we can be evicted along with our chattels - the trees.

If you were my tenant and stopped paying the rent you would be out on your ear quick smart.
