Well, money talks and even so in China, there are 3 Chinese Companies in A2‘s "pockets": Bright Dairy, New Hope Group and Pengxin Group. I don‘t know who is pulling the biggest string here, but someone is. Like you said, China State Farm only incentive is to sell more A2Ms Chinese labels, so I guess they are not pulling the string here about the new Chinese e-commerce law.
Most Synlait‘s profit comes from A2, so of course they are worry about A2 first.
I‘m not into Chinese politics and sorry not doing a proper research on Xi‘s friends and enemies......
