    If it were up to Kujalleq Mayor Simon Simonsen, then mining in Kvanefjeld would begin as soon as possible.

    can some one please tell me if the mayor was elected by the local people or was he delegated this position after the recent election. if he was elected by the people of kujalleq maybe he allready has the vote of the people and is acting on there behalf not just his personel opinion.
