@dave sss; we're at an energy crossroad and for many Aussies including me the choice is simple, solar and wind sources complemented with hydro, pumped hydro, community batteries, more energy efficient homes, more energy efficient appliances, better scheduling of extreme loads from industry and gas backup for emergencies.
Labor has lost Qld with no prospect of getting it back. Pandering to the whims of its coal driven billionaires is Colonial Era thinking and it's about time Australia's leading energy states in Victoria, SA and Tasmania were not punished by the Federal government for getting on with the job.
Australia can no longer afford to waste its time and taxpayers' money on laggards like Qld and NSW.
