g'day Wang.... what any govt should be doing is not catering to any "elites" but working for the broader national interest.
this includes reducing emissions as they promised. this is the first priority after the economic management.
promoting further mining of FFs is not going to help with GHG emissions, quite the contrary, but I do have to accept the mining exports taxes will help the economy. but its a price we do not need to pay.
worsening global warming by increasing emissions will eventually result in increased costs through disaster management.
