Am I correct in assuming that each shareholder is entitled to appoint his own proxy if he/she cannot make the meeting?
DA, the Chairman, has made it abundantly clear that he intends to vote all non-directed proxies in favour of retaining KB AND himself (conflict of interests, anyone?), to vote against the appointent of the Alignment bloc's picks for the board and to vote for the appointment of Mr Usher to the board as well.
Perhaps some of you guys should create a bloc of the smaller shareholders, acquire their proxy votes and so avoid DA from steamrollering their agenda!
The percieved complacency on the part of small shareholders could well swing the votes in KB ad DA's favour, which would be a terrible shame.
