Hi timeto
Long time no chat.
Your comment on the fat cats going down will put the whole system down with it makes sense if the government does nothing. But if the government lets the fat cats go down and then pump $700 billion into the economy in the way of infrastructure this will create employment and also business etc.
How did Australia put the wheels back on in the 1930's? Built the Sydney harbor bridge.
And in the 40's and 50's? Snowy maintain hydro scheme.
And then in the 80's and 90's? Dual lane highways.
This is a time once again for the government to support the people not the fat cats.
Think about if Rudd put that 4 billion into say running a pipe line from far north Queensland to all the different dams along the eastern sea broad to drought profit this part of the country. The benefits would be massive to all Australians, and don't think it cant be done Perth did it in the 1920's. But instead he is putting it into mortgages that already have inflated prices and this will only make the problem worse.
Anyway these are just my thoughts and who really cares what i think.
Cheers
